Apoyo Integral Gila A.C. is a nonprofit association that supports and guides families with a member affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Its work combines emotional, practical, and informational assistance, helping patients and caregivers navigate the challenges of the disease and connect with relevant resources.

The association offers psychological therapy for patients and primary caregivers, including logotherapy, thanatology, and therapeutic activities. It provides general medical information, an initial evaluation for diagnosed patients, and referrals to specialists. Through partnerships, including one with Fundación Teletón, eligible members can access therapy at CRIT centers. Gila also supplies or lends assistive devices, medical equipment, and other materials, and shares information about work opportunities and learning platforms.

To build community and raise awareness, the organization publishes guides, tips, manuals, videos, webinars, news, and personal stories, and maintains a medical directory and information on alternative communication systems. Families and supporters can register to join, volunteer, or donate.
