Pohjanmaan Eläinkeskus is an animal-care business in Karijoki, South Ostrobothnia, Finland, founded in 2008. Now run by entrepreneur Henna Ohlgren, the company provides boarding, grooming, found-animal services and pet-supply retail. Its purpose-built facilities, completed in 2014, are set in a quiet woodland location with walking paths nearby, while remaining accessible to customers across the Suupohja region.
The animal boarding service welcomes dogs, cats and small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets, with care focused on each animal’s individual needs. The facility is inspected and approved by a supervising veterinarian and features underfloor heating and mechanical ventilation. Grooming services include dog bathing, trimming and hand-stripping, as well as nail clipping for small animals.
The company also handles found-animal services for Karijoki, Kristiinankaupunki, Kaskinen and Närpiö. Its retail offering includes Josera cat and dog food, plus pet foods and accessories as a VIPstore retailer. Pohjanmaan Eläinkeskus describes its approach as professional and caring
