Elba Rugby

Elba Rugby ASD is the rugby club of Italy’s Elba Island, representing the local community with a tradition dating back to 1980. Based at the San Giovanni sports facilities and the “A. Scagliotti” field in Portoferraio, the club welcomes players interested in rugby, team development, and friendship. Its teams range from minirugby for younger children to the senior first team, with information available about training schedules, playing venues, and registration. The club also offers free open days, giving newcomers an opportunity to try rugby and meet the team.

Elba Rugby brings players, families, and visitors together through an annual program of tournaments and community events. These include the Trofeo Pesciolino for young players, the Trofeo Isola d’Elba, the Trofeo Old for veteran rugby enthusiasts, and the Festa del Rugby, featuring sport, music, food, and social activities. The club shares team news, match updates, event information, and details about its history and values, while local sponsors support its work.
