ELCIC

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) is a national Christian church serving congregations and members across Canada. Its work brings together worship, community engagement, education, and collaboration with other faith communities. The church is guided by a National Bishop and National Church Council, with synods, congregations, and a national office supporting its ministries and shared priorities.

The ELCIC offers resources for worship and spiritual learning, including sermon series with video and text materials for congregational or personal use. Its website helps people find ELCIC congregations, explore church documents, follow news and events, and access publications such as Canada Lutheran and Eternity for Today. The organization also provides information about opportunities to get involved, employment, and resources for treasurers and congregations.

Its work includes global mission, climate justice, compassionate justice and public policy, diversity and inclusion, and ecumenical and interfaith relations. The ELCIC partners with Canadian Lutheran World Relief and participates in wider Christian networks. Members and supporters can subscribe to updates, attend events, and contribute through donations.
