The Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County supports children and families as they navigate early education and childcare options. Its mission is to bring partners together to provide quality child development programs and services, helping children build a foundation for educational success and productive lives. The Coalition connects families with Child Care Resource and Referral, local childcare information, and guidance on finding quality, affordable care. It also helps families explore eligibility and enrollment in School Readiness subsidized childcare and Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program, including access to participating providers and a VPK locator.

For childcare providers, the Coalition offers information and support related to School Readiness and VPK, starting or improving a childcare program, professional development, inclusion services, and quality initiatives. Additional resources address child health and development, infant and toddler care, trauma-informed support, Conscious Discipline, STEM training, and early literacy through St. Lucie Reads. The organization also shares family resources, events, newsletters, and community initiatives. Based in Fort Pierce, it serves St.
