It helps older people and their caregivers navigate residential care options through free, personalised consultation and matching. Drawing on a database covering more than 800 care homes, current vacancy information, first-hand placement feedback and regular site visits, its professional care advisers identify suitable homes based on a senior’s care needs, preferred district and budget.
The service includes comparing home options and fees, arranging and accompanying visits, supporting admission, and following up after move-in. Lok6 also provides information on care-home types, services, charges and vacancies across Hong Kong and Guangdong, alongside tools such as an elderly-care cost calculator. For eligible cases, advisers offer initial assessments and help with applications for public assistance, including Comprehensive Social Security Assistance and residential care service vouchers.
