About The Eldwick Church
The Eldwick Church is a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) situated in a serene semi-rural village on the outskirts of Bradford, nestled on the edge of Ilkley Moor. This church was formed through a dedicated merger between the Eldwick Methodist Church and St. Lawrence's Church of England church.
St. Lawrence's, previously a district church in the Bingley All Saints parish, adds a rich historical background to the congregation. The church building itself is of great significance to the community, housing two war memorials and serving as a non-designated heritage asset.
In order to foster growth and accommodate larger events and ceremonies, a new building project was undertaken and completed in 2019. This project included the construction of a new Hall, Link Building, and renovations to the existing Church. The Eldwick Church offers a range of services, including regular worship, baptisms, weddings, and funerals.
They also provide opportunities for young people, home groups, prayer sessions, and various activities within their Prayer Link Cafรฉ. With a dedicated team and a strong sense of community, The Eldwick Church continues to thrive and serve the needs of its members and the wider community.
