Election Mandate is an India-focused election database and analysis platform covering every Lok Sabha and state Assembly result from 1951 to 2024. It indexes 417 elections across 543 Lok Sabha seats and 31 states and union territories, with results available for exploration by year, state, and constituency. Users can review candidates, vote totals, seat margins, winners, and changes between elections, with figures traced to mirrored Election Commission of India data.

The platform offers AskVoter, a natural-language tool for exploring election outcomes, vote swings, party performance, close contests, and comparisons across years. Its answers are calculated from structured data, with the analysis method shown alongside the results rather than generated by a language model. The Scenario Lab lets users model hypothetical alliances by adjusting vote-transfer assumptions and seeing how projected seat counts change; simulations are clearly identified as scenarios, not forecasts. Election Mandate also provides interactive maps, historical comparisons, and data-led election stories, aiming to make India’s electoral record easier to examine while maintaining political neutrality and transparent sourcing.
