Legrand is an electrical products brand that supports electricians through its regional Electricista Legrand competition, a program designed to showcase professional skill and recognize outstanding work. The contest brings together participants and public voters across several Latin American countries, with leaderboards highlighting the most popular electricians. Finalists take part in practical challenges held at participating customer sales locations.
These timed tests cover home automation installation and configuration, complex electrical troubleshooting, and the assembly of installations using Legrand and Bticino products, including the Living Now and Matix Go ranges. A specialized judging panel assesses technical precision, creativity, product knowledge, and efficiency. The grand prize includes a Milwaukee tool box valued at $500, along with regional recognition and promotion on Legrand’s social media channels.
The program also invites the public to register and vote, and offers a chance to win an electrical service provided by a favorite electrician and paid for by Legrand. Through competition, product-focused challenges, and community participation, Legrand connects its products with the expertise of working electricians
