Daisy is an embedded music platform that helps makers and developers turn audio ideas into instruments and other sound devices. Its products combine hardware and digital signal processing (DSP) tools for designing and prototyping audio applications, supported by documentation and an active community.

The Seed3 is Daisy’s next-generation sound computer, featuring a TI TAC5242 audio codec, processing up to 32-bit, 192 kHz audio, USB-C connectivity, and a low-profile design. It remains pin-to-pin compatible with existing Daisy Seed hardware, and existing firmware can be flashed to the new platform.

For faster, application-focused prototyping, Daisy offers Seed3 Dev Kits in pedal, desktop, and Eurorack configurations. Each provides connections suited to its intended setting, including instrument- or line-level audio, headphone amplification, MIDI, expression controls, and modular-level audio, CV, and gate I/O. The kits are open-source hardware, allowing users to adapt their circuits and boards for commercial designs. Developers can begin with firmware templates, shape their sound, and use the kits as a foundation for custom hardware.
