Elevage du Gonge is a horse-breeding and competition stable in the Allier region of Auvergne, France, about 25 minutes from Vichy, at the foot of the Montagne Bourbonnaise. The breeding program focuses on show-jumping horses with selected pedigrees, destined for competition. Many of the horses bred at the farm have been exported, and several have gone on to international careers.
The stable also develops horses for competition under professional rider Florie-Laure Etien. The horses take part in national and international events. In 2017, Etien placed seventh in the PRO 1 championship and was named best rider at the CSI 3 in Vichy. She also finished second in the Grand Prix 3, riding Saphir du Frelut, a horse she had trained since it was four years old.
Elevage du Gonge offers show-jumping training courses and boarding options in stalls or pasture, with or without work. The facility welcomes competition, leisure and retired horses, serving owners seeking care, training or a breeding connection.
