L’Élevage des Grez is a family horse-breeding operation in Normandy, France, focused on Selle Français horses and the development of a distinguished maternal line. Guided by a commitment to quality craftsmanship and careful selection, the breeding program traces its foundation to Astrée des Grez, a mare whose descendants continue to shape the herd. The farm’s history reflects the passion of Robert and Colette Foissey and their family, who built their life around horses and established a breeding legacy rooted in generations of equine expertise.
The horses are bred from recognized sport-horse bloodlines, with pedigrees featuring names such as Fra Diavolo, Laudanum, Nabab de Rêve, Diamant de Semilly, and Mylord Carthago. The site presents breeding mares, foals, young horses, and notable performers, including horses selected or ranked in national competitions. Visitors can explore the herd, its family tree, news, and photo and video galleries, or contact the breeders for information. L’Élevage des Grez offers a window into its horses, their ancestry, and the ongoing preservation of its Selle Français line.
