Diams Black is a small, family-run dog-breeding business based in Le Ménil-de-Briouze, in Normandy, about 50 kilometres south of Caen. The kennel focuses on Golden Retrievers and Rottweilers, and states that all its dogs are registered with the French LOF registry and receive veterinary care. The breeders describe their priorities as the health, safety and well-being of their animals.
Dogs live with the family in the home and also have access to an outdoor play area. Puppies are born in the house, where they receive close attention alongside their mother during their first 15 days. As they grow, they are handled and gradually introduced to everyday sounds, outdoor settings, car journeys, leash walks and other animals, including cats, horses and sheep. This early exposure is intended to help them adjust to life with their future owners.
Diams Black offers puppies and provides prospective owners with advice on feeding and daily care.
