Élevage du Lié

Élevage du Lié is a family-run equine breeding and horse-care business founded in 2002 by Marie-Anne Jacquelin. Located in La Milesse, Sarthe, around 10 minutes from Le Mans, it specializes in sport horses and provides individualized care for horses of all breeds. The 40-hectare property includes fenced pastures, spacious boxes and stabling, paddocks, a Fontainebleau-sand arena, a walker and facilities for breeding, training and recovery.

Services include breeding and owner livery, artificial insemination, foaling, embryo collection and transfer, stallion management and semen services, as well as post-operative care, convalescence, rest and retirement. The team has supported more than 400 foalings and offers dedicated monitoring, including cameras and foaling-alert systems. Breeding mares and young horses receive care tailored to their stage of development, with regular turnout and socialization.

The business also provides access to sports facilities and practical support for horse transport. Hay, straw and grain are sourced primarily from the farm’s own land and nearby local producers
