Elimu Fanaka is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to quality education and creating sustainable communities in rural public primary schools in Kenya. We work in partnership with the Ministry of Education, like-minded organizations, the government, local community members, and individuals who believe in the transformative power of education. Our programs aim to bridge the gap between needs and resources to bring about positive and lasting change.

Under our NAWIRI Arts & Culture and Mentorship program, we promote learners' mental health and well-being by providing life skills training, character development, and alternative learning methods both inside and outside the classroom. Our Technology and Literacy program equips rural schools with physical libraries, computers, books, and other resources to improve academic performance. Through our IMARISHA Capacity Strengthening program, we empower parents, teachers, and community members through various trainings, creating a safe environment for holistic learner support.

We have made a significant impact through our initiatives, distributing 12,800 books to schools, supporting 200 families during the pandemic, enrolling 77 learners and teachers in technology courses, and constructing a library.
