About Elisabete Jacinto
The Elisabete Jacinto website documents the career and activities of Portuguese rally competitor Elisabete Jacinto, known for her pioneering participation in African rallies. It presents news, biographical information, interviews, curriculum details, and a year-by-year history of her sporting career, alongside profiles of team members and support crew. The site also features her rally vehicles, including MAN TGS trucks and earlier trucks such as the MAN 2000, Renault Kerax, and Mercedes Trifene 200, with information, photographs, and videos.
Coverage includes events such as the Africa Eco Race, Rallye Oilibya du Maroc, and Morocco Desert Challenge, as well as team activities and co-driving experiences. Beyond competition coverage, the site highlights books about rallying and Jacinto’s career, including “Os Portugas no Dakar” and “100 Imagens, Algumas histórias,” and promotes the documentary “A Força de um Sonho,” which portrays her journey from motorcycling to truck rallies. Visitors can explore historical archives, media, team introductions, and contact information in Portuguese or English
