Elisa H Allen Design

Elisa H. Allen Design is an interior design practice based on Nantucket, Massachusetts, serving clients through a collaborative approach to residential design and construction. Elisa H. Allen works as an integral member of the professional design team, helping clients make informed decisions and thoughtful selections throughout the building process. The practice describes much of its work as creating the “interior hardscape” of a home, combining architectural review with practical and aesthetic guidance.

Services include reviewing floor plans and elevations, coordinating with builders and subcontractors, and advising on materials, fixtures, finishes, and fabrics. Design selections may cover flooring, lighting and electrical plans, plumbing, countertops, stone and tile, kitchen layouts and cabinetry, appliances, hardware, woodwork, and built-ins. The practice also assists with furnishings, upholstery, furniture, wallpaper, paint, and accessories, aiming to create homes that feel cohesive, comfortable, functional, and stylish. Its portfolio features a broad range of Nantucket projects, including houses, grounds, and a wellness center, reflecting the diversity of its design work.
