Eli Speaks

Eli Speaks is a Melbourne fine jewellery brand led by designer and jeweller Kate Higgins, who has more than 15 years of experience creating precious pieces for clients around the world. Each item is handmade in Kate’s Melbourne CBD studio using traditional hand-forming and goldsmithing techniques, with a focus on careful craftsmanship and jewellery designed to last.

The brand offers a bespoke design service for engagement and wedding rings, as well as other custom pieces. Customers work with Kate from the initial consultation through to the finished design, choosing from metals including platinum, 18-carat gold and 9-carat gold, and stones such as diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds and other ethically sourced gemstones. Eli Speaks also remodels existing jewellery, reusing clients’ stones and materials where appropriate.

Ready-to-wear collections draw inspiration from Mayan and Art Deco architecture and include rings, necklaces and other fine jewellery, with options to customise selected designs. The website also features a jewellery portfolio, gift cards, and practical guidance on custom orders, ring sizing, jewellery care, repairs and insurance.
