Elite Edge Firearms

Elite Edge Firearms Training and Tactics is a Casper, Wyoming-based training provider serving law enforcement professionals and citizens. Its programs cover firearms safety and proficiency, tactical skills, leadership, and professional development, with courses offered locally and, in some cases, at hosting agencies. Citizen offerings include a three-hour concealed weapon course covering firearm operation, safe handling and storage, ammunition, maintenance, holster selection, concealment, and laws related to self-defense and use of force. Participants receive a training certificate to submit with their permit application; the permit itself is not issued in class.

For law enforcement, Elite Edge offers handgun, patrol rifle, and shotgun instruction and recertification, as well as courses in instructor development, field training, arrest control, close-quarter combat, SWAT fundamentals, and responses to complex threats. Additional training addresses report writing, leadership, and hostage rescue and tactical operations in correctional settings. Course lengths, fees, eligibility, and schedules vary, and several dates are announced as available or to be determined. The organization also provides department-focused instruction and collaborates with affiliated training providers.
