Elite Stars Soccer Academy (ESSA) is a football development academy serving players in Leicester and the surrounding Midlands area. Its coaches aim to help each player improve in a fun, relaxed and engaging environment, with training shaped around individual development needs. The academy offers group sessions at venues including Saffron Dynamo FC and Broughton Astley Leisure Centre, as well as a pre-academy programme and Mini Kickers for younger players.
Players can also request trials, book one-to-one, player-specific coaching, and take part in camps and other scheduled events. ESSA says its qualified coaching is designed to give players opportunities to develop and potentially be noticed by top clubs. Coaches are DBS checked, head coaches hold FA or UEFA qualifications, and coaches are first-aid trained.
Players receive individual weekly objectives to work on during training and at home. Every 12 weeks, parents may arrange a meeting with a coach to discuss their child’s progress. The academy also offers online sessions, including ball mastery training
