ELIVIP – the Greek Foundation for Books and Culture, established in 2024, is dedicated to promoting Greek literature both domestically and internationally. The foundation aims to highlight the value of books as educational, cultural, and entertainment tools while showcasing Greek culture and language worldwide. ELIVIP supports translation initiatives through its GreekLit program, facilitating the global dissemination of Greek literary works.

The foundation is also behind the Thessaloniki International Book Fair (DEBTH), inaugurated in 2004, which has become a key cultural and commercial hub linking Greece with Europe, the Balkans, and the Middle East. Furthermore, ELIVIP offers a unique resource through its Books from Greece initiative, featuring award-winning publications aimed at the international publishing community. The organization's branches operate globally, including locations in Alexandria and Belgrade, promoting Greek culture through various educational and cultural exchanges. Overall, ELIVIP plays a pivotal role in reinforcing the international presence of Greek literature and cultural heritage.
