The brand was born out of Elizabeth's own struggles as a bride, where she experienced the pressures and challenges of dress shopping to find "The One". Determined to create a memorable and transformative bridal experience, Elizabeth designed her own multi-functional gown that could be worn in three different looks throughout the day and then integrated into her wardrobe for future wear.

Elizabeth Grace Couture focuses on what happens after the wedding day, believing that the wedding gown, which is often the most expensive gown a woman will ever buy, should not be worn just once. Their designs are transformational, allowing the base components of the dresses to be re-worn after the wedding. They also offer a free tailoring service to alter one-piece gowns into evening or cocktail gowns. With a commitment to sustainability, Elizabeth Grace Couture aims to move away from the "one-wear garment" mentality and offers made-to-measure and ready-to-wear options for their brides.
