Elizabeth Spann Craig is a bestselling author of cozy mysteries set in small Southern towns, where close-knit communities, local secrets, and determined amateur sleuths provide the backdrop for each story. Her work spans five mystery series and approximately seventy books, offering readers a range of settings and characters, from a reluctant octogenarian detective to a research librarian who keeps discovering more than books.

The Myrtle Clover Mysteries follow a retired English teacher and small-town columnist in Bradley, North Carolina. The Village Library Mysteries feature librarian Ann Beckett in Whitby, North Carolina, while the Sunset Ridge Mysteries center on type-A homeowners’ association president Sam Prescott in the North Carolina mountains.
