Elizabeth Township, located in Elizabeth, PA, is a brand that offers a range of municipal services and resources to its residents. With a population of roughly thirteen thousand people, Elizabeth Township spans nearly twenty-three square miles in the southeastern part of Allegheny County. Originally part of three counties - Bedford, Westmoreland, and Allegheny - Elizabeth Township was formed from a section of Rostraver Township.

It was incorporated as one of the original seven townships in Allegheny County in 1788, named after Elizabeth Bayard, the wife of the founder of Elizabeth Village. The township is home to various villages, including Boston, Greenock, Buena Vista, Industry, Blythedale, Blaine Hill, Mt. Vernon, Victory, and Central.

Additionally, it is proud to be the home of the Great Allegheny Passage Trail. This scenic trail follows the Youghiogheny River along the former Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad, offering visitors a safe and beautiful setting for outdoor activities such as walking, jogging, skiing, and cycling.
