ELJ Farms is a family-owned farm and entertainment destination in Half Moon, near Jacksonville, North Carolina. Home to the Jones family, farm animals, and local wildlife, the grounds provide a welcoming setting for families and community events. The farm brings together visitors from Jacksonville and the wider eastern North Carolina region for seasonal activities and shared experiences.
Its best-known annual attraction is Christmas Town, a holiday event that opens in November and welcomes guests throughout the season. Visitors can enjoy Santa pictures, Christmas shops, a light-show trail, tractor rides, and s’mores, along with other family-friendly festivities. The event is refreshed with new features, including the Downtown Christmas Shops.
Guests can also explore the farm grounds and look for the family’s animals, including miniature breeds, in the animal enclosure or pasture. ELJ Farms’ website also highlights the Rustic Barn, Swingin’ Things, and batting cages, as well as a gallery and online shop.
