El Luchador is an artisanal tequila brand created by tequilero David Ravandi and inspired by Mexico’s famed masked lucha libre wrestlers. Its identity brings together two longstanding Mexican cultural traditions: tequila and the colorful spectacle of wrestling. The portfolio features four expressions made from 100 percent Blue Agave: Still Strength Blanco, Blanco, Reposado and Añejo.
El Luchador Blanco offers fresh agave and bright citrus notes with a saline finish. It can be enjoyed neat or used by mixologists as a base for authentic cocktails. Reposado develops roasted agave, citrus and vanilla character after four to six months in white oak barrels. Añejo rests for 14 to 16 months in white oak, including French oak, gaining layers of roasted agave, caramelized citrus and dark vanilla. The Still Strength Blanco is a 110-proof spirit with fresh agave, bright citrus and a slightly smoky, saline finish. Its robust profile suits cocktails or sipping as an agave digestif. El Luchador also presents cocktails and branded merchandise.
