Elmer's County Market in Escanaba, MI is a renowned independently-owned grocery store that offers an exceptional shopping experience. With a rich history rooted in founder Elmer Dagenais' vision, Elmer's has been providing fresh products, outstanding service, and a sincere appreciation for customers since its establishment in 1945. The family-owned business continues to thrive under the leadership of Elmer's son, Wayne, and now Wayne's three children, Mike, Pat, and Barb.
As third-generation grocers, they uphold Elmer and Wayne's legacy, operating a full-service supermarket that combines the convenience of a big city store with old-fashioned pride and service. Elmer's County Market takes pride in being deeply connected to the local community. They not only talk about their commitment to the community but also actively participate by volunteering their time for its betterment.
