About El Pozo de Vida
El Pozo de Vida A. C is a prominent non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to the eradication of human trafficking in Mexico and Central America. Committed to the prevention, intervention, and restoration of individuals, families, and communities vulnerable to this crime, our mission is to provide freedom and a fresh start in life.
With 9 impactful projects, we have a nationwide influence in Mexico and are recognized as a reference in Latin America and the Caribbean. We are proud members of the Regional Coalition Against Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling, operating on both a national and continental level. Transparency and accountability are at the core of our values, which is why we openly share our impact reports to demonstrate how funds are used.
Our dedication to the cause has been acknowledged through awards, including the prestigious Medalla al Mérito por la Defensa de las Víctimas. Additionally, our technical expertise extends to providing guidance for the Coalition Against Human Trafficking and Illicit Migration, a collaborative effort to combat these crimes across the region.
