Elternfinanzen provides financial guidance for expecting parents and families with young children in Germany. Led by Bahsin Rajab, a certified financial adviser for families, the service helps parents bring clarity to household finances and make decisions suited to their family’s circumstances. Consultations are available online nationwide, with in-person support also offered in Munich.
Services include family financial planning to organize income, expenses, budgets and savings; guidance on appropriate protection and long-term provision; and support in setting financial goals for children and parents. Families can also request an optional basic review of up to five selected insurance contracts for €79, with a written assessment and discussion of the results. A household analysis based on DIN 77230 offers an objective, comprehensive view of a household’s financial situation. Other topics include legal provisions such as survivor protection, care directives, inheritances and health care powers of attorney. Elternfinanzen also works with childcare centres and children’s institutions on financial education for parents.
