ElterngeldZentrum

ElterngeldZentrum is a private consultancy that helps families understand, plan and apply for parental allowance in Germany. It supports employees, civil servants, self-employed people, freelancers and international families, as well as parents with complex circumstances such as a second child, high income or a combination of employment types. The team advises on eligibility, income assessment periods, tax classes, benefit duration, ElterngeldPlus, partner months and the partnership bonus, helping families compare options and plan parental leave.

Services range from one-off personal advice and individualized calculations to a complete application service. Depending on the package, support can include preparing parental and child benefit applications, organizing required documents, reviewing official decisions, assisting with objections and answering follow-up questions. The company also offers focused advice on income limits that have applied since April 2025.

Consultations are available online, with a free initial conversation offered. ElterngeldZentrum is not a government authority: applications can be submitted to the relevant public office at no charge, and that office remains responsible for decisions and payments
