Elvenstar

Elvenstar is a Southern California equestrian academy serving riders at facilities in Moorpark and Orange County. For more than 25 years, it has offered instruction and programs for people ranging from first-time riders to those preparing for competition. Riding lessons are available for children and adults, with group and private instruction from beginner through advanced levels. The academy also runs year-round horse day camps, including spring, summer, and fall programs for children aged four and up, as well as birthday parties and scout programs.

At its Moorpark facility, Elvenstar provides full-service boarding, hunter-jumper training, and equitation programs. Its regional and national competition programs are led by James Hagman and senior training staff, and boarding placements are limited and matched to each rider’s program. Riders can also explore the facilities, meet the staff, and learn about show schedules and training opportunities. Across both locations, Elvenstar emphasizes horsemanship grounded in compassion, respect, patience, and a willingness to learn, supporting equestrians as they develop their skills and pursue their riding goals.
