About Elvish
The Elvish Linguistic Fellowship (E. L. F.
) is an international organization dedicated to the scholarly exploration of the languages created by J. R. R.
Tolkien. Their main publications, Vinyar Tengwar and Parma Eldalamberon, along with the online journal Tengwestië, serve as platforms for linguistic research and discussion. E.
L. F. also manages the Lambengolmor mailing list.
They recently introduced format changes and per-issue ordering for Vinyar Tengwar to accommodate growing readership demands. The organization offers a comprehensive index of Vinyar Tengwar and encourages the reporting of any publication errata for correction. Additionally, E.
L. F. presents Tengwestië, an online journal featuring academic articles on Tolkien's linguistic creations.
Supporters can aid the E. L. F.
and Vinyar Tengwar through the purchase of themed merchandise. For those fascinated by Tolkien's languages, E. L.
F. provides a rich environment for learning and engagement
