Email.fr is a privacy-focused email service developed in Paris and Brussels by the team at ContactOffice.fr, which has been active in the internet industry since 1999. It offers easy-to-remember email addresses alongside email, calendars, contacts, document storage and group features. The service is designed for people who value personal privacy and want an alternative to advertising-funded platforms.

Email.fr says it does not display ads, sell users’ addresses to third parties, or send advertising, and it works to protect accounts from spam, viruses and phishing. Data is hosted exclusively in Brussels on European servers described as green, with users able to access, correct or delete their personal information under applicable local rules. Customer support is provided in French by email and phone, with personal responses from staff.

Plans include a free option and paid Plus and Premium subscriptions, with different storage limits and feature access. Depending on the plan, users can access mobile apps for iOS and Android, IMAP, POP and SMTP, device and Outlook synchronisation, data recovery and priority support.
