EMA Telemed offers Vitals Sent, a platform designed to help senior care facilities transfer residents’ vital signs into their PointClickCare electronic health records. As an approved PointClickCare partner, the company focuses on reducing manual documentation so care teams can spend less time entering data and more time supporting residents.

Staff use a tablet or laptop to select a resident, take readings with compatible Bluetooth vital-sign devices, and review the results before submitting them. Readings pass through EMA Telemed’s Gateway Hub and are sent to the resident’s chart, with staff able to correct or retake measurements before submission. The platform is designed to work with supported existing devices and does not require facilities to replace their tablets or laptops.

Vitals Sent also provides workflow and savings information, including tools to estimate time saved and potential costs avoided. EMA Telemed presents its service as a way to improve documentation efficiency and accuracy.
