Emaus is a nonprofit organisation and second-hand retailer serving customers through its online shop and communities in Kraków and Nowy Sącz, Poland. Its store offers distinctive pre-owned items, including antique and contemporary furniture, ceramics, decorative objects, collectibles, paintings, jewellery, glassware, toys, books, clothing, and sporting goods. Shoppers can also find vinyl records, CDs and DVDs, hi-fi equipment, musical instruments, household electronics, lamps, and other unusual discoveries. The selection includes both everyday goods and vintage or collectible pieces, giving used items a new life.

Emaus is part of the international Emmaus movement, whose work focuses on people experiencing social exclusion and crises, including homelessness. Community members and volunteers work together in a model centred on home, work, and supporting people in greater need. Income from the organisation’s activities, including the shop, is devoted entirely to maintaining the Emaus communities in Kraków and Nowy Sącz and supporting the Nowy Sącz Society for Assistance named after St. Brother Albert. Emaus also provides furniture restoration and moving services.
