Peer Coach Academy Colorado, based in Colorado Springs, is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to expanding recovery support services for individuals in or seeking recovery. Since 2016, they have been providing comprehensive recovery coach trainings, initially in collaboration with CCAR (Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery). Founder Rod Rushing, who has his own lived experience, became a CCAR Core trainer in 2017 and began offering the entire CCAR catalogue as well as training new trainers in Colorado.

In 2018, Peer Coach Academy expanded to Colorado Springs, allowing them to establish valuable partnerships with other agencies and significantly increase the range of services they provide. Their offerings now include recovery housing for individuals working on competency issues with the courts, counseling, peer support, life skills, and engaging sober activities and social opportunities. Under the name Embark PCA, the organization embodies the spirit of embarking on a new journey, collaborating with agencies across the state to deliver diverse recovery support services.
