About Embark Project
Embark is a unique initiative in Turkey that brings together high-level business leaders, refugees, and host community youth. Their aim is to create an empowered community of inspirational business and youth leaders, fostering social cohesion and economic inclusion through each cohort. Through various activities, Embark offers opportunities for exchange of ideas, skill development, and building meaningful connections.
The program not only provides youth participants with first-hand work experience, but also helps them develop cultural insights and soft skills needed for success. By personally engaging with talented refugee, migrant, and host community youth, business leaders gain fresh perspectives, improve leadership skills, and increase awareness about the refugee youth. The benefits of the program are not only cross-cultural, but also cross-generational.
