Embryo Angling Habitats

Embryo Angling Europe offers carp fishing holidays at specialist venues in Belgium and the Netherlands. Founded in 2014 by Danny Fairbrass, owner of Korda Developments, Embryo Angling Habitats was established to give back to the sport and address challenges facing modern carp fishing. The organisation runs affordable fisheries and helps other lake owners protect their waters from predation.

Its venues include Carp Arena in western Belgium, a complex of four lakes: Clover Lake, Rose Mere, Lilly Pool and Orchid Pool. Each has its own character and carp stock, with options ranging from more prolific waters to challenging lakes holding large fish. In the Netherlands, Carplantis is a 17-acre former quarry known for its substantial stock of big carp, including fish reported above 60lb. The venue offers luxury double swims and a clubhouse.

Anglers can check availability and book sessions online. Rowing boats are available at both fisheries, with additional boat equipment offered at Carplantis for a fee; bait boats are also permitted.
