About Emcify
Emcify is a renowned brand that offers a public Minecraft server with a detailed model of the city of Brno. The realistic replica of Brno is generated automatically based on publicly available data, thanks to innovative algorithms. Emcify's mission began with modeling the Faculty of Informatics at MUNI for open days during the Covid pandemic, eventually expanding to encompass the entire city of Brno.
Using a geodatabase containing vast amounts of data, including building heights and roof types, Emcify's system creates an immersive experience in Minecraft. The core of the system is the Generator, which streamlines the world-building process by leveraging algorithmic technologies. In addition to the generator, Emcify has developed a Runtime plugin to ensure smooth server operation and enhance user experience with hidden treasures and other interactive elements.
