Emerge is a renewable energy solutions company established in 2021 as a joint venture between Masdar and EDF power solutions. Emerge develops tailored, turnkey projects for distributed solar generation, energy storage and hybrid energy systems, both on-grid and off-grid. Its services cover engineering, financing, construction, operations and maintenance, with the company taking full contractual and financial responsibility for delivering agreed outcomes. Its zero-upfront-cost approach and long-term energy arrangements can help clients access clean power while managing exposure to electricity price changes.

Emerge’s portfolio includes rooftop, carpark and utility-scale solar projects, serving clients such as businesses, industrial operators and urban developments. Recent initiatives include solar agreements with Ma’aden and Misk City, as well as the Sana solar plant for Sharjah National Oil Corporation.
