Emergency Lüdenscheid

Emergency Lüdenscheid is a community-developed modification for Emergency 5, based on the Wuppertal Modification. It invites players to take command of emergency services in Lüdenscheid or Linzing, combining 3D missions with dispatch-center management. Players answer emergency calls, assign vehicles, coordinate with other players, and manage patient transfers to hospitals.

The modification features realistic emergency scenarios, including fires, accidents, and disasters, with dynamic events and challenges. Its systems include advanced fire operations, such as interior attacks and rescues using breathing apparatus, as well as a “Fog of Fire” mechanic that keeps incident scenes hidden until units scout them. Water supply also plays a strategic role: hydrants can fail and require repairs. More than 100 emergency vehicles, specialized equipment, and over 550 missions support varied operations.

The project provides downloads, a wiki, an interactive map, a gallery, and community forums. Its website shares news, updates, changelogs, and developer diaries, while connecting players through Discord and other community channels. A recent update introduced additional features, revised missions, optimizations, and bug fixes.
