EMF

The École des Métiers Fribourg (EMF) is a vocational upper-secondary school in Fribourg, Switzerland, offering full-time professional education. It prepares learners for careers in industrial and information technology fields through four-year CFC qualifications in automation, electronics, IT and mechanical engineering. The school also offers a two-year Way-up electronics qualification for eligible learners.

Alongside initial vocational training, EMF provides pathways to the professional baccalaureate in technology, architecture and life sciences (TASV), either integrated with a CFC programme or after vocational training. Preparatory courses help students get ready for the post-CFC professional baccalaureate. The school serves both apprentices pursuing an integrated qualification and people continuing their education after a CFC.
