The Egyptian Mortgage Federation (EMF) is a reputable organization established in the Arab Republic of Egypt in accordance with the provisions of the Egyptian Mortgage Law No. 148 of 2001, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 55 of 2014.

EMF operates under the supervision of the General Authority for Financial Control and holds a public legal personality. Since its establishment in 2015, EMF has been the voice of the Egyptian mortgage industry. EMF offers various products and services to support and develop the real estate finance sector.

It engages in regulatory activities, such as proposing technical guidelines for mortgage operations, as well as advocating for the interests of public entities involved in real estate finance.
