Emma Ivey Events

Emma Ivey Events is a boutique wedding planning and design studio based in Charleston, South Carolina, serving couples in Charleston and destination locations worldwide. Founded by Emma Ivey Gowen, the studio creates celebrations that are personal, thoughtfully designed, and seamless to experience. Its approach combines warm hospitality, timeless aesthetics, careful organization, and attention to meaningful details, with each wedding shaped around the couple rather than passing trends.

The studio offers full-service wedding planning and design, guiding clients from the first conversation through the final farewell. Services include helping couples select a venue and vendors, develop their design vision, plan décor, and create a detailed event timeline. Emma works collaboratively to understand each couple’s priorities and provide clear direction, while managing details behind the scenes so they can remain present throughout the process. Guest experience is central to the studio’s work, alongside meticulous execution and a calm, personal planning experience. Emma Ivey Events aims to make every celebration feel effortless, welcoming, and unmistakably reflective of the people being celebrated.
