Emma Østergaard is a Danish professional mountaineer, speaker and coach whose work explores human potential, resilience and personal growth. Driven by curiosity and a passion for pushing boundaries, she shares her experiences through expeditions, guided trips, talks and coaching. Her Beyond the Clouds project aims to make her the first Dane to climb the world’s five highest mountains above 8,000 metres, and the first Dane to attempt The Double. From 2025 to 2029, the project includes expeditions in Nepal and Pakistan and highlights women’s strength, diversity and ambition in mountaineering.

Emma also leads mountain and trekking adventures, including trips to Lobuche East, Toubkal and Norway’s Lofoten Islands. Her tours are designed to combine challenging outdoor experiences with careful guidance and a strong sense of community; past offerings have included the Everest Base Camp trek and Three Passes route. Through her speaking engagements and coaching, she shares insights on mental strength, focus and performing under pressure.
