Associazione Comunità sulla strada di Emmaus ETS is a social and volunteer organisation based in Foggia, Italy. Founded in 1978 through a community experience inspired by Don Bosco, Emmaus works to welcome and support people facing hardship, with particular attention to vulnerable adults and young people. Its adult therapeutic and rehabilitation community offers personalised recovery and social reintegration pathways for people experiencing addictions or behavioural difficulties, in a setting that respects individual rights.

For adolescents, Casa del Giovane Emmaus focuses on reducing risks to healthy development, especially for young people in disadvantaged neighbourhoods. The association also runs territorial initiatives with schools to prevent addictions and encourage youth participation. Alongside these services, Emmaus fosters shared community life, volunteer involvement and temporary hospitality for groups, volunteers and visitors.

Its activities include educational, prevention and social inclusion projects, as well as a community energy initiative promoting renewable energy production and sharing. Young people can take part through the Universal Civil Service programme. Emmaus welcomes support through donations and Italy’s five-per-thousand tax contribution scheme
