Emotion Belly Books

Emotion Belly Books, LLC is a children’s publishing and educational brand founded by author Tracy Schlepphorst, M.Ed. Its stories help children and adults understand emotions, build social-emotional awareness, and start meaningful conversations. Drawing on her background in special education and school counseling, Tracy creates books and learning experiences for families, educators, and young readers.

The collection includes seven children’s books and a coloring book, with stories about happiness, manners, grief, love, friendship, and recognizing feelings. Titles feature Eden, Henry, and Ripley, Tracy’s Goldendoodle, as well as Poppy’s adventures at places including a children’s museum and a bank. The books combine engaging narratives with opportunities to discuss emotions and, in some titles, learn about everyday topics such as saving and spending wisely.

Emotion Belly Books also offers author visits and speaking appearances, including virtual visits for schools, and Emotion Belly Yoga classes. Tracy is a Rainbow Kids Yoga-certified teacher, and Ripley joins her in classroom visits to share a love of books and learning.
