Empathy Rooms

Empathy Rooms provides counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) for adults and children in Glasgow and Lanarkshire. The practice offers a genuine, understanding, empathic and confidential setting for people experiencing difficulties that may contribute to stress, anxiety or depression. Its approach uses evidence-based methods tailored to each client, with the aim of supporting better mental health and improving quality of life.

Therapy is adapted to each person’s needs and goals rather than following a fixed agenda. The process may include an introductory session, assessment, formulation of the client’s difficulties and a collaboratively agreed treatment plan. Empathy Rooms emphasises acceptance, trust, commitment, confidentiality and hope, and aims to work alongside clients as they explore change. Services are available in person at locations in Stonehouse and Glasgow, as well as by video call.
