Emporia Arts Center (EAC) is a vibrant and dynamic hub for the arts in Emporia and its surrounding seven-county service area. Since its establishment in 1976, EAC has been dedicated to educating, advocating for, and celebrating the arts. With over 45 years of experience, EAC has curated an impressive lineup of annual performance series, featuring renowned national and international artists.
Through their commitment to high-quality programming, EAC has engaged over 100,000 children and 200,000 adults in artistic and cultural programs. EAC firmly believes in the transformative power of art, fostering creativity, adventure, and a sense of community. Their activities expand children's and families' vision and values, strengthen neighborhoods, enhance educational opportunities, and inspire entrepreneurship.
By challenging conventional thinking, the arts at EAC open doors to innovative solutions and fresh perspectives. Visit EAC's Trusler Gallery to explore their current and upcoming exhibitions, or attend one of their exceptional performances, such as the 2023-24 Performing Arts Series and Missoula Children's Theatre. EAC also offers a range of education programs, including fall, winter, spring, and summer classes, as well as holiday classes.
Additionally, EAC provides outreach through their Art Mobile, enriching communities with the power of art. Plan your visit to the Emporia Arts Center, located at 815 Commercial St, Emporia, KS. They are open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.
