About EU Network for Wellbeing
EMPOWER. Ment is an EU project aimed at empowering individuals with severe mental health difficulties through inclusion at every step of their training and therapeutic journey. The project focuses on training and preparing volunteers, friends, family members, mental health professionals, and university students to surround and support those with mental health challenges.
The objectives of EMPOWER. Ment are to empower individuals with mental health difficulties to feel included, provide support to those interested in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, align support with international mental health action plans and human rights, and promote inclusive support training in mental health. The project offers various outputs, including a methodological guide, a glossary for an inclusive approach to mental health support, and an e-learning module to train volunteers, youth, family, and professionals in inclusive support.
